Since russia’s war against Ukraine, many of our friends and partners expressed their support and desire to help the Palliative Care Center.

It was especially touching and heartwarming to receive a letter from Graham Perrols (Founder of the Hospices of Hope in Romania). The Head of Palliative Care Center – Iryna Slugotska, attended education course for Leadership in Palliative Care (provided by EPCA) in 2017 at Princess Diana Education Centre in Brasov.
In cooperation with the Blue Heron Foundation and Hospices of Hope, the St. Panteleymon Charity Fund was provided with a much-needed vehicle for transporting bedridden patients of the Palliative Care Center. With this vehicle we were able to provide transportation of our patients from home to medical institution and some of refugees had transportation to the border for continuous care and treatment in European hospices free of charge.
Moreover opioid medicines and painkiller were supplied by Casa Sperantei (HOH Romania), that allowed us to cover needs of patients for almost a year.
